Named after the River Tay in Scotland, these plump, juicy, exceptionally aromatic berries are a cross between a red raspberry and a blackberry. We love the unique burst of flavor, but the growing season in "warm, sunny" (haha) Scotland is brief, and we have been working on bringing these in for almost a year. But it was worth the wait! We layered in a little blackberry and raspberry for a delicious kaleidoscopic berry effect, and then we conditioned it on a ludicrous amount of vanilla. Decadent, delightful, delicious... This is a special treat in every sense of the word.
