For our ninth edition of our Anniversary Ale we’ve built a blend of three different “Motor Oil” batches that have aged In Blanton’s Bourbon, Willet Rye and Strahan’s Single Malt Whiskey barrels across 12-26 months. The layering of young and old barrels allows us to weave together a delightfully rich and decadent imperial stout that blossoms in your glass as it warms. Notes of dark chocolate, maple syrup, and toasted macadamia nuts gently melt into a layered cascade of brown sugar caramel, medjool date, and creamy vanilla with a warm inviting finish.
